What KAEL is

KAEL is a brokerage platform: it lists boats from boat companies and sends them your requests. KAEL is not the owner or lessor of the boats nor a travel agency. The rental contract is concluded only between you and the boat company, which is a professional trader and solely responsible for the boat, crew, insurance and regulatory compliance, as well as for your consumer rights towards it. KAEL charges the client nothing and does not handle client payments.

Requests, prices and availability

Sending a request is not a booking: a booking only exists once the company confirms it with you. The prices shown are indicative and set by the company, which will confirm the final price (including taxes) and its payment and cancellation terms before you contract. Leisure services on a specific date carry no right of withdrawal under Spanish consumer law, without prejudice to each company's cancellation policy.

How we rank results

Boats are mainly ordered by the destination and filters you choose (type, capacity, skipper and date), their availability and company verification. Some companies may be highlighted as "VIP" or "Verified": this is a distinction assigned by KAEL, not an assessment of service quality.

Reviews

Reviews marked "Verified" come from clients with a booking confirmed through KAEL, who receive a personal link after their trip. Others are published after KAEL reviews them and are not verified. We do not publish offensive or false reviews, or reviews by companies about themselves, and we offer no rewards for reviewing.

Editorial content and images

Routes marked as editorial are sailing ideas to inspire you, not guaranteed trips. Some destination images and images of boats without their own photo are illustrative and AI-generated; they are labelled as such.

Use of the website

You must be 18 or over to send requests, provide truthful data and use the website lawfully, without sending offensive content or automating requests. KAEL may remove content or block abusive use.

Intellectual property

The brand, design and texts of this website belong to KAEL. Photos, descriptions and trademarks of partner companies belong to their owners and are used with their authorisation.

Liability

KAEL is not liable for the provision of the boat service, the condition of the boats or real availability, which are each company's responsibility. If you have a problem with a company, write to us: we help mediate through our complaints system.

Law and complaints

Spanish law applies. If you act as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may go to the courts of your domicile or to consumer dispute resolution systems.
